Miguel Rodriguez, Board  President, has been serving since January 2007 as a Commissioner.

Miguel started as a volunteer firefighter in 1982 and worked his way up to Deputy Fire Chief.

Wes Beseda has been with the Fire Department for 10 years, and is currently certifed through TCFP as Fire Officer I, Instructor I,  Advanced Firefighter, Driver-Operator Pumper, Wild Land Basic Firefighter and Incident Safety Officer. He is also certified through SFFMA as a Fire Officer I, Instructor I, Advanced Firefighter, Driver-Operator Pumper, Wild Land Basic Firefighter, Rescue Technican III. Certifications also include NIMS 100,200,300,400,700 & 800, and DSHS EMT-B.

Promoted to Assistant Chief of EMS Operations June 13, 2016.

Received the Medal of Gallantry May 27, 2015-rescued two people from a gas well in the Humble Channel.

David Jackson, Board Treasurer , has been serving since March 9, 2016.

David also served as a volunteer firefighter and work his way up to driver/operator.

Fire Chief :

Dale Scott has been with the Fire Department for 35 years, and is currently certifed with the TCFP as Head of Department, both Suppression and Prevention, Advanced Firefighter, Fire Officer II, Instructor III, Driver-Operator Pumper, Wild Land Basic Firefighter, and Incident Safety Officer. He is also certified through SFFMA as a Master Firefighter, Fire Officer II, Instructor III, Driver-Operator Pumper, Wild Land Basic Firefighter, and Incident Safety Officer. Other certifications include NIMS 100,200,300,400,700 & 800, DSHS EMT-B and EMS instructor, Rescue International Ocean Rescue Boat Operator 1.  Chief Scott is also a graduate of the Texas Fire Chiefs Academy.

Reciverd the Hurricane Harvey 2017 for standing duty during the storm

Received the Medal of Valor 1986: saved six people from a fire at Portofino.

Receiced Firefighter of the year in 1984.

Deputy Fire Chief:

JP Hominick has been with the Fire Department 10 years, and is currently certifed with the TCFP as Fire Officer II, Instructor I, Advanced Firefighter, Driver-Operator Pumper, Wild Land Basic Firefighter and Incident Safety Officer, Rescue International Flood and Swiftwater Technician, and Rescue International Ocean Rescue Boat Operator1. He is also certified through SFFMA as a Fire Officer II, Instructor I, Advanced Firefighter, Driver-Operator Pumper, Wild Land Basic Firefighter, Rescue Technican III. Certifications also include NIMS 100,200,300,400,700 & 800 and DSHS-EMR. Deputy Chief Hominick has attended year one of the Texas Fire Chiefs Academy.

Received the Medal of Gallantry May 27, 2015-rescued two from a gas well in the Humble Channel.

A Shift; Captain-EMT-P Brandon Sekula

Is currently certifed with the TCFP as a intermediate firefighter, instructor 1, & Driver- Operator. He is also certified through DSHS as an EMT-P. Certifications also include NIMS 100,200,300,400,700 & 800, and Rescue International Flood and Swiftwater Technician. He joined our ESD in  November 2016

Lifetime Member:

Joe Dees served in many areas of the Department, from Training Officer to Maintenance Officer, Assistant Fire Chief, and Fire Chief. Even though Joehas retired from the Department, to this day he is only a phone call away and  is always willing to help.
